As the sole designer on ‘Sky Captain,’ I filled sketchbook after sketchbook with robots, ships, interiors, exteriors, props, gadgets, graphics, and costumes... basically everything you saw on screen that didn’t breath.
With everything set against a blue screen, the whole ‘world’ needed to be designed - and that was just the start. From there I helped to coordinate the efforts of all the various departments in order to make sure the look stayed consistent from initial sketch to final render.
